Kirameki Translations Kirameki Translations on Facebook

Welcome to Kirameki!
We're a couple, we love searching and enjoying every masterpiece gaming has to offer on every console or market it might come on. We're dreaming of a world where every great title can be enjoyed by everyone.
A far-fetched dream for sure, but at least we're working to improve the current situation, little by little. Assuming English is not a problem for most players all over the world, there is still a big problem with Japanese, very graceful and very complicated. Many wonderful games are still Japanese-only, and if the texts are important, most non-Japanese speaking players give up on trying them.
Since I am personally one of them, and since we already had some Japanese games in mind for a "real-time" translation, we thought about sharing our work publicly for everyone's sake. Seles was able to provide an awesome job with translation, both for quality and speed, and after a vocabulary/syntax/consistency editing, all of it was eventually finalized as a step by step guide. Then I created this site, with some help on the graphic side (thanks Yurai and Seles), to provide a better platform to share our work.
And this was just the beginning of everything. We've really enjoyed ourselves, both with the translation and the site creation.
In short, I really hope this will be useful to you all, and if you're willing to lend a hand or anything, please feel free to contact us anytime ^^

Note: We are now inactive. You can still contact us, though.
This website will remain as an archive of what we did in the past.
Thank you for following us all this time, we hope we've been at least a bit useful to you.

The rainbow still wants to shine

As of now, we're trying to resume the Captain Rainbow project with the help of new friends. It's still early, but maybe this is the right time.
Just to let you know. See ya!

Current status

This is the situation for Captain Rainbow: we can't go on without a hacker, and Dantarion vanished long ago. Tempus seems to be a little busy, and I'm also searching among my acquaintances. It will take a bit of time in the best case.
I feel a bit depressed about how the things went in this project, but I will never give up. I have some great mates, and a lot of people waiting for this translation as much as me, so we'll do our best.
I really want to finish this project in the best way.

Anyway, since we have almost nothing to do at the moment, we're doing some side-projects. I have the re-translation of Giftpia (enjoy it in the meantime), and Seles is helping a friend doing subtitled videos of Tales of VS (in italian).

Bye, and keep your fingers crossed.

Welcome to Nanashi Island

The first two parts of Giftpia have been released! Thanks goes to our great editor, John T., and.. yes, to me too.
Anyway try to wait at least for the next one, that contains common actions like save the game, sleep and sell things, it will be useful. After that you can start to play without problems.

Also the editing is now going well for Captain Rainbow too, but we still can't translate the rest of the text (57%). It's good to have a vacation, though.

"Goodbye! Until the day we meet again!"

Some changes

Giftpia has its own page now, and the projects have a new legend.
Lovedelic games have been added to the poll, along with Ururun Quest.
We were going to add some other series you suggested, but we want to choose only the most relevant titles of those, and we'll do it within the next update.

Both our ongoing projects need english editors. No editors, no good translation. So please contact us. See ya!

Needing Editors

Hi again, and sorry for not saying anything here for a long time.
I haven't even publicized the site in other english sites/forums for now, but you seem to be some good finders. Since I really appreciated all your comments and the report of our site in some other sites I found, I hurried up and began translating Giftpia into english ^^
Happy? I'm enjoying this as well, I love that game afterall. Please notice, I am not the translator of Captain Rainbow, I'm the italian editor and, well, the general checker. I don't have always work to do regarding it, so from now on I'll fill the empty time (oh, I had it? really?) with this.
Now, I'm used to english manga, english anime, english games, I had tons of them and I can understand them all even with strange linguistic forms. But am I really able to use this language myself? Maybe.. Nah, I'm not confident at all.
So please, let us know if you're interested to lend a hand editing my english, or checking the consistency of the terms and the sentences among all the parts. Use the comment form and leave me a message with your email address.
It's not a huge work, the italian translation took us only 3 months, and in one afternoon I've done the first 5%. I don't know how many of you I will need, maybe 10, maybe only 1. We'll see. Thanks!
